Sulley Muntari, the standout midfielder for Hearts of Oak, will not be playing against Bechem United in the MTN FA Cup final.
As head coach Samuel Boadu picked his 22-man roster for the final slated for Sunday, June 26, 2022, Muntari was unable to make the team.
What caused the former Inter Milan player's omission is currently unknown.
Along with Sulley Muntari, Isaac Mensah, who is still on a Ghana U-20 national assignment, was not included on the list. The squad's only notable absences are the two mentioned above.
Hearts of Oak, the most successful club in the competition, would like to have 12 players on Sunday. The victor of the match will represent Ghana in the CAF Confederations Cup in 2022/2023.

Ayitey Powers challenged me to a fight and I beat him mercilessly.-Joseph Clottey
Joshua "The Hitter" Clottey, a former world champion, has revealed that he gave popular Ghanaian boxer Ayitey Powers a lesson in 2002 after he challenged him to a fight following a dispute over the result of a match.
Joshua Clottey, who is not actively involved in boxing, described how the tough-talking Ayitey Powers engaged in a fight at his gym and expressed his disappointment at the judges' decision to award Powers the victory despite Powers' lackluster performance.
The former welterweight champion claimed that he complained bitterly about the judges' decision in favor of Ayitey Powers, who had actually outperformed the opponent from his club.
