Finally, Arsenal and Man City agree on a price of £45 million for Gabriel Jesus.

Arsenal and Manchester City have reached an agreement for Gabriel Jesus to transfer to the north London club for £45 million.

For £45 million, Gabriel Jesus will join Arsenal.

Gabriel Jesus will join Arsenal for £45 million, according to an agreement.

The acquisition of Erling Haaland and Julian Alvarez increased competition for positions, and the Manchester City star appeared destined to leave the Etihad this summer. Mikel Arteta is familiar with Jesus from their time together, and Arsenal is looking to increase their potency at the Emirates.

Chelsea and Tottenham were also interested, but the Gunners prevailed with a £45 million deal. The Brazilian is getting closer to moving to north London, however the finer arrangements still need to be worked out.

Jesus will depart Manchester five years after being acquired for £27 million, resulting in a substantial profit for the Premier League champions. The forward has continued to score significant goals, including the game-winning goal at Stamford Bridge last season, but under Pep Guardiola, securing a regular position has proven difficult.

Sergio Aguero has always been his primary rival, and now that Haaland has joined the team, chances for him could once again be few and far between. However, Jesus would undoubtedly take center stage if he transferred to Arsenal. After his contract expired, Alexandre Lacazette left the Gunners for no reason, while Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang left the team in January. Despite Eddie Nketiah's composing, it leaves the Arteta light in attack

Recently, Nketiah emphasized the need for greater quality and competitiveness for positions as the team looks to advance. Every team needs a squad to compete, Nketiah stated in an interview with The Daily Telegraph. The club is constantly seeking ways to get stronger. My contract has been extended, and they did so for good reason. You enjoy the challenge no matter who enters. After making them feel welcome, you engage in combat and competition.
