WITHDRAW SOLDIERS FROM PREPAID METER INSTALLATION - PARLIAMENT

Parliament has coordinated the Minister of Defense, Dominic Nitiwul, to promptly pull out military faculty giving security to Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) staff introducing prepaid meters in the Lower Manya Krobo electorate.

Parliament has likewise brought the Minister of Energy, Matthew Opoku Prempeh to brief the house one week from now on improvements in the establishment of the prepaid meters in the Krobo Area.

The Second Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Andrew Amoako Asiamah who managed without the Speaker Alban Bagbin, gave the mandate after the MP for Lower Manya Krobo, Ebenezer Okletey Terlabi raised the issue of the tactical presence in the voting public.

 

Mr. Terlabi said the arrangement of the tactical faculty in his space to give security to the ECG staff for the establishment of the prepaid meters in private offices was creating strain in his body electorate.
