Manchester United and Chelsea have both been linked with a move for West Ham's Declan Rice, but the England midfielder's future appears to be set.
Declan Rice will not be sold this summer, according to West Ham.
Chelsea are said to have stepped up their pursuit of the England midfielder in recent days, while Manchester United have been linked with a move for the Hammers star.
However, a senior source at the London Stadium has stated emphatically that Rice will not be going during this transfer window. Chelsea's new owners are eager to make at least one headline signing at Stamford Bridge after purchasing the club from Roman Abramovich, but their pursuit of Rice seems likely to be thwarted for the time being.
Todd Boehly, Chelsea's new chairman and temporary sporting director, is in charge of the club's transfer business this summer, with super-agent Pini Zahavi reportedly working closely with him. "I'm happy of the players because we're not the largest of squads, so going week in, week out, practicing and playing Thursdays and Sundays, away from home and away from families has been challenging, but in the end, we've had a terrific year and we're ready to go again."
Moyes has already stated that he believes Rice is worth more than £100 million, and if he does well for England in the World Cup, his value will skyrocket much further. Rice first appeared in
