Real Madrid are expected to listen to offers for Marco Asensio this summer, as well as try to offload Dani Ceballos for a low fee, as both players are out of contract next year.

Asensio, once hailed as a future star, started only 19 La Liga games in 2021/22 and twice in the Champions League. Meanwhile, Ceballos was injured for much of the season and only returned to a supporting role after two years on loan at Arsenal.

Marcelo, Gareth Bale, and Isco will all leave Real Madrid when their contracts expire in the coming weeks. With Antonio Rudiger and Aurelien Tchouameni already on board, this will significantly reduce the wage bill.

However, additional new arrivals are likely to be contingent on additional outgoings. Marca mentions Luka Jovic, Mariano Diaz, and Jesus Vallejo as potential departures who are immediately considered transferable. Borja Mayoral, Reinier, and Takefusa Kubo could be added to the list.

According to reports, Asensio will be able to choose his own future. A new contract has not yet been offered to the 26-year-old, but if he chooses to stay knowing that he will not be a regular starter, he will be presented with a new contract reflecting that status.

Otherwise, Asensio will almost certainly command the highest fee of any player Real is willing to sell. Despite rumours of interest from Arsenal, Liverpool, and AC Milan.

Tchouameni's €100 million arrival has increased competition for midfield positions for Ceballos. He is welcome to stay, but only as a fringe squad player, and he has yet to be offered a new contract beyond his current one, which expires in 2023. Real value him at €10 million.

CRISTIANO RONALDO could be leaving Manchester United this summer.

Cristiano Ronaldo of Manchester United has reportedly 'been approached' by a third club, former side Sporting Lisbon, after being heavily linked with both Chelsea and Bayern Munich. According to reports, the Portuguese forward's agent, Jorge Mendes, has pitched his services to a number of Champions League clubs, amid reports that Ronaldo is dissatisfied with United's transfer activity.

Ronaldo returned to Manchester United for a second time last summer for around £20 million after Juventus made him available for transfer. Despite missing out on Champions League football under Ralf Rangnick, the star scored 18 goals in just 30 league games for the Red Devils.

According to reports this week, Ronaldo is looking to leave the club, with Bayern Munich and Chelsea inquiring about his availability - though the former has since denied they will sign him this summer. The Sun now claims that Sporting Lisbon has also approached former star Ronaldo about a move, despite United's insistence that they have no plans to sell.

According to the report, Ronaldo has told new manager Erik ten Hag that he is willing to stay at the club and help launch a rebuild. Despite the Dutchman's appointment, he is dissatisfied with the club's lack of activity in the transfer market thus far.

Cristiano Ronaldo could leave Manchester United in the near future.
