The impersonator, who went by the moniker Doop Snogg, went to the NFT.NYC meeting in New York City this week and took selfies close by anxious Snoop Dogg fans.
The NFT startup which employed the copy, Fair.xyz, said the stunt should make individuals discuss shams and fakery in the NFT business.
"We involved Doop Snogg as a pleasant approach to featuring our objective of eliminating fakers, bots and extortion away from the NFT space," the organization said in a proclamation shipped off Insider.
