After a brief loan to Everton, DONNY VAN DE BEEK has returned to Manchester United's training facility.
The 25-year-old midfielder has only made 50 appearances in all competitions since joining the Red Devils in August 2020.
After his Everton loan, Van de Beek returned to training on Monday.
Following his brief stay at Sevilla, Martial returned to the team.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, the former manager of Manchester United, introduced him to the group, but he immediately lost favor and found it difficult to earn a spot in the starting lineup.
As a result, he was given a loan to Everton in January that would last through the 2021–22 campaign.
Van van Beek has been promised that he WILL have a spot in the team for the upcoming season by new manager Erik ten Hag.
Before the midfielder left for Old Trafford two years ago, the Dutch partnership had a good run at Ajax.
Van de Beek excelled under Ten Hag's leadership, assisting the team in reaching the Champions League semifinals, winning two Dutch Cups, and winning the Eredivisie.
The 25-year-former old's Ajax teammates are excited to see each other again this summer, according to Man Utd officials.
Currently, Frenkie de Jong is the top transfer target, and the Red Devils are willing to pay Barcelona £65 million plus add-ons to get him.
As well-known targets include Nicolas Tagliafico, Lisandro Martinez, Jurrien Timber, and Antony.
The club will also need to decide what to do with players who have returned from loan stints while fresh arrivals are being considered.
Following his brief stay with Sevilla, Antony Martial was also spotted in training today.
The Frenchman was made available for a £20 million discount since he underwhelmed in Spain.
Brandon Williams has also returned, though it's possible that this season he will also be unnecessary and might go for a fee of about £10 million.
