Black Stars Midfielder Daniel Kofi Kyereh makes a move to top European club in Germany.
The Ghana International has signed an undisclosed terms contract with German Bundesliga side SC Freiburg ahead of the 2022/23 season which commences in August.
Black Stars attacking midfielder, Daniel Kofi Kyereh has completed a move to German Bundesliga side SC Freiburg. The young talented player couldn't hide his excitement and joy after concluding the move that will have him feature in the German Bundesliga against clubs like Bayern Munich, Broussia Dortmund and the European league.
The German born Ghanaian midfielder was one of the in-form Ghanaian players abroad in the just ended season, hitting the ball into the net 12 times and 10 assists in the Bundesliga II for St. Pauli.
Daniel Kofi Kyereh was also one of the best players that featured in the Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon despite the abysmal performance by the Black Stars exiting in the group stages.
In a tweet announcing his move he said, "I am impressed by Freiburg style of play, appearance and development. I have decided with full conviction to become part of this team and I am full of anticipation of the upcoming games in the Bundesliga".
He was also part of the Black Stars team that beat the Super Eagles of Nigeria in the World Cup playoffs played in both Kumasi and Abuja earlier this year.
Daniel Kofi Kyereh joined St. Pauli from Wehen Wresbaden ahead of the 2021 campaign in his two seasons with the boys who wear brown and made sixty-seven appearances and was directly involved in forty-three goals(22 goals and 21 assist) in all competitions
Details of his contract remains undisclosed but a move to the top flight European club in the German Bundesliga is sealed and dusted for the Ghana International next season.
