NANA KWAKU BOATENG LLL SWORN-IN AS NEW JUABEN OMANHENE

The New Juaben Traditional Area's chiefs and kingmakers have sworn in Nana Kwaku Boateng III, known informally as Odehye John Kwadwo Yeboah Gyamfi, as the Omanhene elect.

 

The New Chief will rule the new Juaben State in place of the deceased Daasebre Oti Boateng.

 

 

 

 

 

All of the divisional and subdivisional chiefs, Muslim chiefs, political figures, members of the church, and several government officials were present for the serene and colourful celebration.

 

 

 

Omanhene Gyaase welcomed Nana Kwaku Boateng ll and presented him as the Omanhene to New Juabenman.

 

 

 

 

 

The "Black Stool," a representation of the New Juaben People's power and authority, emerged from the stool room for the first time in 29 years.

 

The stool was used to force Nana Kwaku Boateng ll to swear and promise to work diligently and honestly. The Omanhene pledged to assist New Juaben thrive while serving his people with humility.

 

 

 

"I swear to you that I will uphold harmony and cooperation in both New Juaben and Old Juaben. I'll exert myself and utilise my strength to help New Juaben grow. He said, "I Nana Kwaku Boateng won't give up on you.

 

 

 

According to custom and tradition, every chief in New Juaben took the oath before Nana Kwaku Boateng ll and vowed to obey him and the traditional leader.

 

The Omanhene was paraded in State and along the Main Streets of Oman while being carried in a palanquin.

Asante Juaben Omanhene was admonished by Daasebre Otuo Serebour II to lead in honesty and humility and to foster unity among his people in order to promote growth.

 

 

 

"Being a chief is a self-sacrificing job. In your absence, people will appreciate what you say and do. Avoid lying to others because if you do, they'll lie to you.

 

 

"Nowhere has a large stool. Your behaviour and output would be affected by how big or little the stool was. Developmental initiatives and the welfare of your population depend on you. He said, "Respect us, and we will respect you.
