DCE brother's wife was shot dead by a debtor for a GHC350 debt.
The spouse of the sibling of the District Chief Executive for Kwahu Afram Plains South has been shot dead by her borrower.
Talking on Nkawkaw-based Agoo FM, District Chief Executive Evans Kyei Ntiri unveiled his sibling's better half and an engine rider were both shot dead over GHC350 obligation.
The miserable occurrence happened last Saturday when the debt holder supposedly welcomed the lady (expired) to his ranch in a town called Iddrisu Akuraa around Kronteng-Krachi in the Kwahu Afram Plains South District to purchase sweet potato.
As per Evans Kyei Ntiri, the departed Akosua Esi was a sweet potato merchant at Maame Krobo market who ordinarily purchases in mass from ranchers around the towns and towns in the Afram Plains North and South Districts and the Sekyere Afram Plains region.
Evans Kyei Ntiri addressing Morning Show have, Obaahemaa Yaa Mirekua said the suspect has been captured and he's in the guardianship of the Afram Plains South District Police Command aiding an examination.
"It is valid, my sibling's better half who is likewise my significant other was a sweet potato broker who purchases sweet potato from around 70% of the ranchers in the Afram fields region however as per my senior sibling, the spouse informed him around three (3) weeks prior that one of his borrowers has called her to come for sweet potato, so she went with one person who rides engine. He said the spouse let him know they got back after hearing a gunfire after a few endeavors to arrive at the rancher demonstrated worthless."
Evans proceeded with that his sibling further said, "they went for the second time after the rancher called and said they lost the way to his homestead and requested that Akosua Esi get him weedicides while coming adding that, all endeavors to arrive at the rancher bombed indeed.
Nonetheless, he said, "the debt holder prevailed in his arrangements to dispose of Esi after they (the rancher and Esi) consented to meet last Saturday when he shot Esi and her engine rider to death in a flash en route to his homestead."
The DCE additionally added that the Afram Plains South District Police Command and the Eastern Regional Police Command along with the adolescent in the space captured the suspect and furthermore said the suspect affirmed perpetrating the wrongdoing when he was addressed by the police.
"The Inspector-General of police after hearing the episode sent the Eastern Regional police leader and his group to visit and comfort the groups of the departed yesterday," he said.
The assemblages of Akosua Esi and the engine Rider, who turned out to be in his mid 20s have been stored at the Donkorkrom Presbyterian Hospital Morgue.
