Liverpool forward Takumi Minamino has finished an extremely durable move to French side AS Monaco for a revealed charge of around £15.5 million, the two clubs said on Tuesday.
The Japan international has signed a four-year contract with the Ligue 1 side following more than two years at Liverpool during which he was sent on a one-year credit to Southampton.
The 27-year-old showed up and scored 14 goals in all competitions in his time at Anfield.
The Cerezo Osaka youth item spent five years at Austrian top-level club Salzburg prior to moving to England.
"With his triumphant culture, his capacity to play in various positions on the pitch and his status as a vital participant with his national group, we are persuaded that Takumi will add to the improvement of our young group," Monaco sporting chief Paul Mitchell said in a statement.
AS Monaco finished third in Ligue 1 last season, procuring a spot in the qualifiers for the Champions League, a rivalry in which Minamino has played before both for Liverpool and Salzburg.
