Liverpool has 'entered talks' about a swap deal following the 'blow' to Mohamed Salah's contract

All the latest Liverpool transfer news and rumours as Jurgen Klopp looks to bolster his squad ahead of the start of the season.

Liverpool's season is about to begin in less than a week.

The Reds will be among the last Premier League clubs to begin their summer preparations, but it will be another relentlessly intense build-up.

When Jurgen Klopp's team does get going, Sadio Mane, who has joined Bayern Munich, will be missing.

However, following a proactive start to the summer window, they will have Darwin Nunez, Calvin Ramsay, and Fabio Carvalho among their ranks.

There could be more changes to the squad before the transfer window closes, and we've compiled a list of all the latest transfer news and rumours surrounding Anfield.

swap talks

Liverpool are said to be 'in talks' with Juventus this summer about a surprise swap deal.

The Reds are said to be talking about swapping midfielder Naby Keita for Adrien Rabiot.

According to Calciomercato, the two clubs could swap midfielders, as both have one year left on their current contracts.

Salah status report

Liverpool risks losing Mohamed Salah for nothing.

The Egyptian has one year left on his contract, and no agreement on a new deal is in the works.

Salah is now planning to leave Liverpool, but he wants to stay for another year to finish out his contract, according to The Mirror.

Liverpool has stated that they are willing to sell this summer in order to avoid that fate, but only if they receive a very reasonable offer.

A move to Real Madrid has been ruled out.

In terms of Salah, Real Madrid are said to have ruled out a summer move for the forward.

There have been rumors of Los Blancos making a move after missing out on Kylian Mbappe, but no deal appears to be in the works.

According to Defensa Central, Real Madrid have ruled out that option because they do not require another forward before the transfer window closes.
