Cristiano Ronaldo of Manchester United is having fun in Ibiza with Georgina Rodriguez as he prepares to welcome Dutchman Frenkie De Jong to Old Trafford.

The Manchester United star, who decided to return to England last summer, was photographed while on vacation in Ibiza. While some of his teammates are already doing double sessions, Ronaldo is making the most of his extra time off after representing Portugal in the Nations League.

The former Real Madrid player was photographed with Rodriguez on a private yacht in Ibiza, taking showers and frequently checking his phone. Ronaldo will undoubtedly be monitoring his club's transfer activity, with United agreeing a deal with Barcelona for Frenkie de Jong on Tuesday.

According to sources, the Red Devils will pay £56 million upfront for the 25-year-old, with performance-related add-ons potentially bringing the total cost of the deal to £70 million. It will be the Ten Hag era's first signing.

United's No.7 will no doubt be overjoyed with the news, having grown frustrated with the club's lack of transfer activity this summer, according to The Sun.

The arrival of the new manager initially cast doubt on Ronaldo's future, as his principles appeared to be at odds with the player's style of play. But, following his return to Manchester last summer, the new manager has reaffirmed that the Portuguese superstar will be a part of his plans.

Recently turned 37 last season, Ronaldo managed to score 24 goals, frequently pulling his team out of trouble. The five-time Ballon d'Or winner is eager to stay if he is needed as part of the rebuilding process. When asked about the forward's contributions, Ten Hag stated that he would bring "goals."

Ronaldo has also piqued the interest of United's rivals Chelsea. New Blues owner Todd Boehly reportedly met with Ronaldo's agent, Jorge Mendes, about a possible swoop, while Sporting Lisbon, where Ronaldo began his career, also wants to bring him back.

Despite this, senior sources at Old Trafford have stated unequivocally that Ronaldo is not leaving the club, and that Ten Hag has already included him in his plans for next season. They stated, "Cristiano is not for sale." "We want him to be with us next season, and we fully expect him to be."

United are still looking for attacking reinforcements, with Ajax's Antony linked with a move to the Premier League. After an impressive year in Amsterdam, he is eager to follow Ten Hag. As the club looks to bolster their defensive ranks, his teammate and Argentine international Lisandro Martinez is also being linked.
