PSG advises Neymar of their move viewpoint as the star 'qualifies' a move to Chelsea.

Chelsea have been linked with a move for Neymar after it was revealed that PSG were willing to cut ties with the Brazilian following their agreement with Kylian Mbappe.

In an extraordinary U-turn in recent years, Paris Saint-Germain reportedly told Neymar that they no longer require his services after begging him to stay.

There are major changes afoot at the Parc des Princes, with Mauricio Pochettino set to be fired despite winning Ligue 1 in his first full season in charge. A poor performance in the Champions League convinced president Nasser Al-Khelaifi to cut ties.

Christophe Galtier, the manager of OGC Nice, was chosen to replace the former Tottenham manager after winning the title with Lille the year before last. In a major reshuffle, he will reunite with Luis Campos, who also worked at the northern French team.

A new contract with Kylian Mbappe worth £650,000 per week has been agreed, beating Real Madrid to signing the Frenchman on a free transfer. The 23-year-old is also said to have been given control over transfers and coaches in the boardroom.

According to RMC Sport, Neymar has been informed that he is no longer wanted at the club, which intends to continue its rebuilding without him. It has raised the prospect of a lavish transfer to Chelsea, who have been linked with the Brazilian.

The former Barcelona star joined PSG for a record-breaking £200 million in 2017 and was expected to propel the club to prominence in the Champions League. That hasn't happened, with the Parisians reaching only one final in the last five years, losing to Bayern Munich in 2020.

According to the report, Neymar was enraged by Al-comments Khelaifi's earlier this summer, when he spoke out about PSG's shortcomings. "Is Neymar set to leave this summer?" What I can tell you is that we expect all players to contribute significantly more than they did last season. Much more!" Le Parisien was informed by Al Khelaifi.

"They must all be 100 percent. We clearly weren't good enough to go far. The goal for next season is simple: work every day at full capacity. To give everything we have for this jersey, to go above and beyond, and to see what happens.

RMC Sport also reported that Neymar is considering a move to Chelsea after it was revealed that the Blues were considering a summer transfer. Tod Boehly, the club's new owner, wants to make an immediate impact at Stamford Bridge with a marquee signing.

Thomas Tuchel is familiar with the player from his time as manager of PSG and would gladly accept the Brazil international. With Romelu Lukaku set to leave, the German wants to bolster his attacking options.
