Erik ten Hag, the new manager of Man Utd, ordered the team to report to training at 9am as he enforced the rules like Sir Alex Ferguson.

In an effort to set the rules early in his tenure, Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has brought back Sir Alex Ferguson's 9am beginnings during preseason.

Just after 8am, Ten Hag arrived at Man United's practice facility.

One of the first players at Carrington was first-team star David de Gea.

McClaren, an assistant manager, was the first to arrive.

On Monday, the Dutchman attended his first training session and is immediately asserting his dominance.

Players were required to report at Carrington by 9am, according to the Manchester Evening News, which renowned manager Ferguson did.

It represents a significant departure from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, United's last permanent manager.

The Norwegian gained the reputation as being "soft" because he permitted players to arrive for training an hour later.

Ten Hag is assisted by Steve McClaren, the former No. 2 under Ferguson, to help enforce this shift.

At 7.45am, the assistant manager of the Red Devils was among the first to reach the practice field.

Ten Hag arrived shortly after 8 a.m. to get ready for the day.

Ten Hag is eager to generate a positive vibe within the club in order to improve United's sense of unity.
After training, the squads MUST eat dinner together and mingle.

Similar requests were made by Ferguson during his 26-year stay at United, but they were dropped after his departure.

The Dutchman has reinstated Fergie policies, including the requirement to report for training no later than 9am.

Academy stars had the opportunity to win over the new boss.

In order to facilitate his on-ball workouts, Ten Hag has also insisted that the grass be precisely clipped to 15mm.

In order to support Ten Hag's success, United is also seeking to make a number of acquisitions.

He hopes to see Frenkie de Jong again. It will cost more than £60 million to oust the midfielder from Barcelona.

De Jong and Ten Hag were coworkers at Ajax.

Both Christian Eriksen, a free agent, and Lisandro Martinez and Antony from Ajax are being considered.
