XAVI SIMONS JOINS PSV

Paris Saint-Germain has lost one more foundation play, who will leave on a free exchange looking for greener fields and really playing time. Xavi Simons, whose arrangement terminates on Thursday, has consented to join Dutch club PSV Eindhoven.

 

Move window expert Fabrizio Romano reports talks between the capital club and Simons of another agreement were nearly concurred with the Ligue 1 bosses with a credit move, then 'it fell.'

 

Romano adds that the midfielder's arrangement with PSV will be until 2027 however doesn't specify the justification for the understanding between the different sides to implode, prompting this amazing move.

Xavi Simons has joined PSV Eindhoven from Paris Saint-Germain in a surprise permanent deal.

It was expected that the teenager would move to the Dutch side on a one-year loan contract.

The 19-year-old attacking midfielder broke into the first-team squad in the French capital last year and featured six times in Ligue 1 as well as three times in the Coupe de France (picking up one assist).

PSV finished second in the Eredivise last year, two points off winners Ajax and are expected to mount a title challenge next season.
