It's easy to see why some people believe the Premier League is the best domestic league in the world.

The majority of players in England's top flight will have their sights set on winning the Premier League title, but winning Player of the Month also comes with some bragging rights.

However, if you go back in time, you might be surprised to see the stars who were passed over for the award.

Here are the four Premier League players who have never won the Player of the Month award:

De Bruyne, Kevin

Despite being one of the best players in the Premier League in recent years and twice winning Premier League Player of the Season, Kevin de Bruyne has never won Premier League Player of the Month in England's top flight division.

Drogba, Didier

It is surprising that Drogba, one of the best Premier League strikers of all time, did not win the Premier League Player of the Month award during his time in England.

Toure, Yaya

Yaya Toure is without a doubt one of the greatest Premier League midfielders of all time, and he was instrumental in many of Manchester City's victories. Throughout his Premier League career, he never won the Premier League Player of the Month award.

Kante, N'Golo

N'Golo Kante, unquestionably one of the best defensive midfielders of all time, was named Premier League Player of the Season in 2016-17. He has, however, never been named Premier League Player of the Month.

According to kicker, Bayern Munich are prepared to send Serge Gnabry to the stands if he does not extend his contract or leave the club this summer. Gnabry, who already has a contract with Bayern Munich, has been putting off a decision about his future for several months. His current contract will expire in the summer of 2023.

Following the events of Niklas Sule and David Alaba, it was unavoidable that the German champions would take this step with Gnabry. The 26-year-old is probably worth at least €45-50 million on the market right now, and Manchester United is reportedly interested in signing him. Bayern will require that money if he refuses to extend his contract.

According to the report, the player is "unimpressed" with the club's negotiating position, and it's easy to see why. If he is benched for the entire season, his place in Germany's World Cup squad may be jeopardized. Hansi Flick has already indicated his preference for players like Jonas Hofmann and Jamal Musiala on the wings for the national team, so Gnabry has a lot to prove, and he can't do it from the stands.
