The Red Devils have confirmed an official deal with exceptional young star player Zidane, according to reports. The Manchester United academy standout has signed a new deal with the club.

Manchester United is getting closer to finalizing a deal for Barcelona midfield maestro De Jong, according to Fabrizio Romano, with the club looking to pay £65 million for the star player.

According to a report, Premier League club Chelsea is interested in three Manchester City players. Thomas Tuchel is currently looking to sign Raheem Sterling and Nathan Ake in order to improve the team's quality.

Cristiano Ronaldo's form was Manchester United's only real bright spot in the 2021/22 season.

Overall, the Red Devils had a truly miserable season, but their 37-year-old talisman still managed to deliver in front of goal.

Ronaldo scored 24 goals in all competitions, including 18 in the Premier League.

Only Liverpool's Mohamed Salah and Tottenham's underappreciated forward Heung-min Son have more goals in the English Premier League than United's main man.

During the 2021/22 season, Ronaldo also broke his long free-kick drought.

Back in April, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner scored a set-piece as part of a hat-trick in United's much-needed 3-2 home win over relegated Norwich City.

That was his first win since the 2019/20 season, when he scored a goal in the Turin derby for Juventus.

Ronaldo has scored some spectacular free kicks for Manchester United over the years, including a physics-defying knuckleball against Portsmouth and a 40-yard bullet against Arsenal in the Champions League semi-finals.

The Portugal international also managed to impress the Old Trafford crowd with a free-kick during a warm-up routine, which is unusual.

Despite the fact that he regularly takes set-pieces for both club and country, Ronaldo's prowess from them has waned in recent years.

But, while that is true, it should never be forgotten that he was the best in the business at free-kicks for many, many years. And if you don't believe me, just ask Real Madrid supporters.
