Prince Boateng has reiterated his desire to play for Hertha Berlin ahead of the upcoming season
Veteran midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng genuinely wants to assume a main part at Hertha Berlin in front of the forthcoming season.
The 35-year-old marked a one-year agreement expansion subsequent to assisting the club with enduring transfer last season.
In front of the new season, Boateng pondered the previous mission and concedes he needs to keep up with his mentor job at the club.
"I need the very same job as the year before. I'm there to assist with being the father of the youthful chaps and afterward ideally show on the contribute what I showed Hamburg," he said as cited by Berlin Zeitung.
"Obviously, that was Felix Magath's significance, that he could have perceived, alright, the kid is from here. He has the Hertha DNA. He'll benefit the group," says Boateng.
"I think the fans, the club, those capable and I felt something after the Hamburg game. We needed to feel that in advance. Sadly it didn't end up like that. However, after the game we felt that there was still energy, that something was all the while shivering.
"The last year has been excessively tempestuous, a lot of activity, too many negative titles, too many adverse outcomes. I was unable to stop like that."
