Qatar 2022: Five-part advisory group to raise reserves initiated by Sports Minister
The Minister of Youth and Sports, Mustapha Ussif, has shaped a five-part panel to assemble financing for Ghana's support in the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
The Committee, drove by Deputy Sports Minister Evans Opoku Bobbie, will participate in various endeavors to accumulate money to enhance the public authority's help for the Black Stars in Qatar.
Mustapha Ussif affirmed the drive on Wednesday through his authority Facebook account.
He expressed that the public authority needs corporate help in light of the fact that the nation will be partaking in various games this year, including the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, the Women's U-20 FIFA World Cup in Costa Rica, the World Athletics Championship in Oregon, and the 2023 AFCON qualifiers.
"Sports has contributed fundamentally to the country's economy in different ways throughout the long term. Thus, getting corporate elements to help us will decisively situate our games as a significant financial driver," the Sports Minister said.
