In the next National Delegates Conference of the New Patriotic Party, Kwabena Abankwa Yeboah is listed as the eighth candidate on the ballot (NPP).

During a meeting at the headquarters, each of the 48 candidates for the party's different posts chose their place on the ballot.

The Delegates Conference will take place at the Accra Sports Stadium from July 15 to July 16.

Kwabena Abankwa Yeboah chose "Number 8" after the activity.

According to him, the exercise was successful because "God has been gracious I received the 'Ase H'." He said that "fortunately for me I was praying to God to have either number 1 or the last number to enable my capable delegates and supporters to vote comfortably."

Additionally, he urged the candidates to counsel both themselves and their supporters against using derogatory language in their campaigns.

"I'd want to take this occasion to urge my fellow colleagues to encourage their supporters to run for office on issues because we'll be in positions of leadership and we expect our campaigns to be civil and respectful of one another. Supporters vandalising posters all over the place would be unjust. Knowing that, if given the go-ahead, I can bring justice, unity, and transparency to the party gives me additional motivation.

Party supporters praised Mr. Abankwah-Yeboah for his leadership skills.

They emphasised, "We know that Abankwah-Yeboah is the perfect candidate for the chairperson post because he has been tried and trusted, thus we feel he is coming with advantages and chances that would help the young people and the party members. When he gets the go-ahead, let's all stand behind him for justice and responsibility at the federal level.

The entire list of candidates, together with their standings on the ballot, was produced and made public by Mr. Evans Nimako, Director of Elections and Research for the NPP and Secretary of the Party's National Elections Committee. It is shown below:
