Juventus are hoping they can sell Matthijs de Ligt abroad - with Chelsea in pole position - for a huge transfer fee which will then allow them to sign Nicolò Zaniolo from AS Roma.
The talks on De Ligt’s renewal has stalled. Pimenta would like the release clause to go down to €70/€80M. Juve want the €8M a year salary to be adjusted. De Ligt is not asking for a transfer, but he is thinking about the possibility of a future away from Turin.
Chelsea and Man City are going head to head over De ligt, Chelsea made the first offer, money + Werner then later Pulisic, Juve said no and want money instead. Man City are studying a deal, Man United are in the background.
