Darwin Nunez, Fabio Carvalho, and Calvin Ramsay are new additions to Liverpool's roster this summer, while Sadio Mane, Divock Origi, and Takumi Minamino are departures.
With a big season coming up, Liverpool coach Pep Ljinders has named three players he wants to add to the squad before preseason. Ljinders has been one of Klopp's go-to men for the past two years.
With the additions of Darwin Nunez, Fabio Carvalho, and Calvin Ramsay, the Reds have completed their early business, and it does not appear that any other important signings are likely. That is true even though Sadio Mane, a crucial member of Jurgen Klopp's team, left for Bayern Munich.
In addition to the Senegal international, team members Takumi Minamino and Divock Origi have departed for AC Milan and Monaco, respectively. That might raise some questions as Liverpool tries to defeat Manchester City for the championship.
That, however, is a disservice to the tremendous talents present in Liverpool's academy, which is regarded as one of the best in the nation. When Klopp was in charge at Anfield, he always prioritized the development of the young players, particularly in cup games.
Top young players like Kaide Gordon, Owen Beck, and Tyler Morton have already been given the chance to shine. Ljinders, though, identified three additional players earlier this year who he hoped would advance this summer in preseason.
"I think a coach should be evaluated far more on the young players he develops, but this is just my personal perspective," he remarked back in January. "When I consider our academy, I firmly believe in our project. For instance, I spoke with the coaches and Alex Inglethorpe yesterday morning while I was at the Academy. Hey

"We frequently scan the Academy. Our U18s faced Burnley on Tuesday in the FA Youth Cup, and Bobby Clark, Luke Chambers, and Stefan Bajcetic all stood out. In order for them to have a proper preseason and understand exactly how we want to handle things, I hope they join us during the preseason."
The assistant manager at Liverpool is well familiar with the entire team and has kept an eye on the younger players all season. Even though the first team is not expected to return to the club until next week, the Dutchman might still be dissatisfied.
However, the youth teams, notably the Under-21s and Under-18s, have returned to Kirkby, with Ljinders utilizing the extra week to take a thorough look at the club's upcoming talent. Clark and Bajcetic may have the opportunity in the upcoming weeks, but Chambers was not present because he was allowed time off at the European Under-19 Championships this summer, where England advanced to the final.
