Singer Nero X feels that controversy is an outdated approach to staying current in the music industry, despite the fact that it may have provided a lifeline for some artists.

And it's past time for artists who relied on controversy to alter their approach since it has recently proven unsuccessful.

He contends that as the market is becoming more and more cutthroat, depending on controversy rather than high-caliber work does not ensure success.

He acknowledged that while it may have helped certain artists' careers take off, the Hossana singer pointed out that not all artists will experience the same success.

I will never fabricate anything provocative to trend in order to promote a song or get popularity.

"I like to let my artwork speak for me in order to promote my brand and sell my songs.

"This is because if controversy is the reason my music is popular, it will swiftly lose traction as soon as the issue is no longer relevant. Then what will happen to the song and me?

"Generating controversy to promote musical works has become the norm, but I believe it is also destroying hard work and originality.

"A good song always stands on its own. Although Kofi Kinaata's songs are well-liked, has he ever been associated with any unfavourable or contentious news?

Nero X stated, "His tracks speak for themselves because he prioritises skill, hard work, and ingenuity over gimmicks.

Nero X hasn't been active in the music industry for the past three years, but he told Graphic Showbiz he's been working on other, equally important projects.

You may need to take a break and explore different interests in order to acquire new talents. As I was doing so, I was carefully observing everything to make my recovery stronger.

He remarked, "Right now, I have a new track ready called Shame starring Kweku Darlington.

A month ago, the new song, which is about humiliating your adversaries, was published. He said that certain radio stations and other music streaming services are playing Shame.

Songs like Yawa Dey, Nyame Dadaw, Otan, Hosanna, and Winner by Nero X are well recognised.
