UG cuts sod for PhD apartment construction.

Teacher Nana Aba Appiah Amfo, Vice Chancellor, University of Ghana - Legon, on Wednesday cut the grass for the beginning of work on a Doctorate in Philosophy (PhD) condo for the University.

She said the development of the condo would address the foundation deficiency of the University and "in accordance with the University's vision to accomplish a top notch status."

 

The primary period of the venture, which includes the development of a 60-room loft out of the 240-condo office, will cost GH₵ 9 million and expected to be finished in 14 months.

 

The 60-room condo will comprise of 20 rooms on each floor in a two-story building, including a kitchenette, little sitting region, a room, and a washroom.

 

The Vice Chancellor said the venture would be an amazing chance to concede more PhD understudies, support the preparation and produce basic scholars, who might give potential open doors prepared to proffer answers for existing difficulties.
