On personal terms, Richarlison's representatives and Tottenham have reached an agreement. "A long-term contract has been agreed with his new agents, and he is awaiting the completion of the deal with Everton," according to Fabrizio Romano. The 25-year-old was linked with Chelsea and Arsenal earlier this summer, but he is eager to join Spurs and work under Conte. The north London club also qualified for the Champions League, giving them a competitive advantage over archrivals Arsenal.
Frank Lampard requires funds to oversee a rebuild after escaping relegation in the final weekend of last season. Everton is expecting at least £50 million and is unlikely to agree to Spurs' request to add players in order to reduce the asking price.
