Cristiano Ronaldo, a star for Manchester United, has been linked to a surprise summer transfer to Chelsea.
Wes Brown, a legendary member of Manchester United, believes that keeping Cristiano Ronaldo would be a good decision overall. This summer, the Portugal international has been linked with a shocking switch to Chelsea after his representative, Jorge Mendes, spoke with Todd Boehly, the new owner of the Blues. However, Brown, who shared the field with the 37-year-old throughout his playing career, believes he will remain where he is.
Over the weekend, it came to light that Chelsea had undertaken extraordinary negotiations to bring in Ronaldo this summer.
Romelu Lukaku will return to Inter Milan on loan, and as of right now, the Blues have not brought in a replacement.
Ronaldo has said he wants to stay at United, but his future is still up in the air given the team's failure to make the Champions League.
The veteran is reportedly also concerned about the Red Devils' lack of ambition because Erik ten Hag hasn't yet welcomed any new recruits.
Ronaldo gives a certainty of goals to the team, according to Brown, who believes United would be wise to keep him.
He added in an exclusive interview: "He's a different breed.

"We need to add players whatsoever, but keeping Ronaldo will be a huge asset given the goals he has scored for us this season.
You can say a lot of things—good or bad—but he will ultimately score goals for you as well.
The absence of Cavani is evident. The manager will likely be aware of pretty much every area we need to strengthen, and he has been assured that doing so is perfectly acceptable and that the money is available to do so.
In the end, it comes down to whether we can get these players and do so at a reasonable cost.
Ronaldo might be concerned about the lack of transfer activity at United, but that should soon change.
Tyrell Malacia is about to join from Feyenoord, and Frenkie de Jong is about to transfer from Barcelona.

Although De Jong's impending arrival in particular would be a big victory, Brown believes that his old team needs additional improvements in the park's center.
When asked if United needed to add more players in that position, he responded, "Yeah."
Four players have left the team, and while I'd say Mata and Matic were getting a little older, their experience and talent cannot be replaced.
"Everyone completely realizes that as you age, your legs are the last to go. De Jong is a fantastic player, and we need talent in the middle.
"A seasoned competitor."

He said, "Yeah I do [think he'd be a nice addition], I think he's a quality player who is good on the ball," in reference to De Jong in particular.
He is not afraid to use the ball, and we are aware that many players have left, particularly midfielders in general.
"Whether they were nearing the end or were simply getting older, a lot has vanished.
We are therefore quite slim there. We most definitely need to add a midfielder, especially De Jong,It would, in my opinion, be a perfect fit.
Brown maintained that Richard Arnold should be commended for recently sitting down with supporters at a nearby pub.

Brown stated, "First of all, I don't think it's proper for people to show up at someone's residence.
But that is an entirely separate issue.
In the end, he perished and did it in the proper manner and with knowledge of the predicament he was placing himself in.
"I don't see anything wrong with that, and he made the point he wanted to make, in my opinion.
"I don't think it (the fans showing up at his house) was arranged appropriately, but he handled it pretty well,"
