Trapped in Conflict: Invisible hands need me out of office - Embattled Deputy Minister
The Deputy Sanitation Minister, Amidu Issahaku Chinnia has claimed that a few strong hands and a senior individual from the overseeing New Patriotic Party (NPP) need him fired.
He guaranteed that in the Upper West Region, there is a senior individual from the party whose interest is to "obliterate each capability of youngsters in the district."

The Minister has been entangled in an embarrassment after a JoyNews uncover 'Trapped in Conflict' uncovered an organization connected to him had won government contracts during his residency as Deputy Upper West Region Minister.
It further uncovered how an organization connected to Mr. Chinnia was enrolled in the names of his sibling, cousin, and individual driver won government contracts at the Upper West Regional Coordinating Council during his residency.
The Batuowiisi Company Limited was set up in 2017 scarcely a month after his arrangement and around the same time, won a 2.6 million cedi Planting for Food and Jobs contract.
They were again granted a 12.6-million-cedi street contract in 2019 by the Upper West Region Coordinating Council.
Talking on a neighborhood radio broadcast in Upper West, the Deputy Minister said he doesn't find it unlawful for relatives to apply for an agreement at an establishment where he is a public official once it's inside the law.

Mr. Chinnia, claims that such a long ways as his relatives are Ghanaians and go as per regulations to carry on with work, "they are permitted to carry on with work."
