Craig Burley, a former Scotland international, has urged Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic to leave the club and join Premier League rivals West Ham United immediately this summer if he has a brain in his head.

Burley believes Pulisic should leave Chelsea for West Ham United because the 2022 FIFA World Cup is approaching and the US international isn't getting enough playing time at Stamford Bridge.

If he has a brain and a good agent, he goes in and speaks to the club, to Tuchel, lays the cards out - I want to play, the World Cup is coming up. I want to move on if I'm not going to play, Burley told ESPN.

I believe he goes to a club that is just below Chelsea. I am not saying they will sign him. West Ham, on the other hand, is ambitious and punches above their weight. That's where I think he'll find some consistency.

Pulisic, who joined Chelsea from Borussia Dortmund in 2019, has been linked with a summer transfer to West Ham.

His time at Chelsea has been marred by inconsistency, as he made only thirteen Premier League starts last season and was sidelined by injuries.

So far, he has 25 goals and 18 assists in 114 games for the west London club across all competitions.

Chelsea's hopes of signing Raphinha appear to be dwindling after the Leeds United winger instructed his agent to inform the Blues of their lack of interest.

Barcelona had been the Brazilian international's preferred destination this summer, but the Catalan giants' financial difficulties opened the door for Chelsea and Arsenal.

The Gunners appeared to be in pole position at first, but they were unable to agree on a fee with the Yorkshire club, allowing Chelsea to steal a march.

Raphinha appeared to be on his way to Stamford Bridge after the Blues agreed to match Leeds' financial demands earlier this week and agreed to pay a fee in the region of £60 million.

The winger, on the other hand, appears to have little desire to stay in the Premier League, and according to Sport, he has told his agent Deco, a former Chelsea player, to tell the west London club to cool their interest.

Missing out on Raphinha will be a major setback for Thomas Tuchel, coming so soon after the confirmation of Richarlison's transfer to Tottenham.

Chelsea attempted to hijack the Everton forward's move to Antonio Conte's side, but Chelsea were unwilling to match Spurs' offer for the former Watford striker.

Tuchel's focus will now be on securing a deal for Raheem Sterling, who wants to leave Manchester City and return to London.

Chelsea is also interested in Ousmane Dembele, who played for Tuchel at Borussia Dortmund.

The France international is now a free agent, but he hasn't ruled out signing a new contract, and PSG is keeping an eye on his situation.
