Few weeks ago, news broke out of celebrity couple Paul okoye of formerly psquare and his wife Anita Okoye are calling it quits after years of marriage. The reason for their splits was not disclosed however we taking in consideration the most frequently reported ones.
The report has it that Anita Okoye, the wife of Nigerian singer, and Afropop artiste, Rudeboy or King Rudy, born Paul Okoye, has taken him to court over straying.
According to Nigerian Website Legit.ng, Rudeboy has been chewing their housemaid, Florence’s beans, with chopsticks whenever his wife Anita Okoye is away. Note this is an allegation not a fully confirmed detail.
The award-winning singer of the psquare twins is also said to have always invited Florence to the hotel to have more extra fun in peace without peeping through the window.
Photos of the court documents are trending on social media, and Nigerians reacted differently.
It is alleged that the ‘Reason With Me’ singer once sent his wife and her sister out of the house after his affair with the maid was discovered.
While sending them out, the singer reportedly bragged about it, claiming that it was to clip his wife’s wings.
It should be recalled that in August 2021, Rudeboy’s wife filed for dissolution of their marriage, citing reasons such as Companionship denial, Lack of communication, lack of support for wife’s family, Irreconcilable differences, and Resistance to communication attempts.
Weeks after the news about the divorce case, Paul, with the help of his family met with his wife Anita, they reconciled and continued with their union.
Rudeboy is one of the biggest musician out if Nigeria and Africa as a whole. He reconcile with his twin brother Peter Okoye after a long separation due to personal reason known to them. The two have announced their preparation for the Europe concert.
