Sales girl fined GH¢36,000 for stealing employer’s money.
The Circuit Court in Accra has condemned a business young lady to a fine of GH¢36,000. 00 for taking GH¢60,502.00, having a place with her manager.
Felicia Baidoo Tei, convict, will serve five months in jail in difficult work on the off chance that she neglect to pay the fine.
Tei denied taking the cash.
Police Chief Inspector Benson Benneh told the court directed by Mrs. Evelyn Asamoah that Remi Salifu, the complainant, is a supervisor at Lift Mark Ghana Limited while Tei, is a sales rep of the organization.
Indictment said the organization, gave Tei 28 Cartons of Maggi Shrimp Tablet, 150 containers of Maggi Shrimp tablets, four containers of Maggi Chicken Tablet, 40 containers of Maggi Shrimp Fort, 30 containers of Maggi Dedeede tablet, 40 containers of Ideal Milk adding up to GH¢60,502.00, to supply to clients.
Boss Insp Benneh said Tei sold every one of the merchandise however neglected to represent the GH¢60,502.00, being installment for products sold.
The court heard that when Tei was captured and given over to the police at Dansoman, she conceded the offense in her forewarned explanation.
Boss Insp Benneh said she admitted to selling the items, yet neglected to deliver record to the complainant and deserted her post.
He said Tei drove police to CMB and Agbogbloshie markets, in Accra, where she provided the merchandise, yet was exclusively to recover GH¢740.00 of the sum from two clients.
The vast majority of the clients Tei drove the police to show that they had paid the denounced for the items purchased.
Boss Insp Benneh said Tei could anyway not let the police know what she had involved the cash for.

Akyeamehene of Sefwi call on police to solve murder case
The headless body of a young woman has reportedly been found around an uncompleted building at Sefwi Bekwai in the Western North Region.
As confirmed by the Assemblyman of Old Clinic electoral area, Martin Darko in an interview with Adom News said the body of the deceased was discovered by some contractors who had been hired to work on the uncompleted building.
One of the six workers who had been contracted to fix POP in the building went into a nearby bush to attend to nature’s call when he spotted the lifeless body.
The ceiling expert upon inspecting the scene found the body deceased fully clad in black jeans and a pink strapless top with traces of blood around it.
Eyewitnesses believed the deceased, suspected to be in her early thirties, may have been killed at a different location before being dragged into the bushes.
A report was subsequently made to the Sefwi Bekwai Police Command for retrieval of the body.
The Akyeamehene of Sefwi Traditional Area, Nana Kwabena Ennin has expressed shock over the incident while calling on the police to bring the perpetrators behind the heinous crime to book.
