Football teams are on high alert as many players become officially free agents today.

Stars from all five of Europe's top leagues are now available to be purchased for nothing at all.

And the strongest lineup made up of players who are no longer under contract would challenge teams like Real Madrid, Manchester City, and Liverpool.

Thomas Srakosha, a former goalie for Roma, is a reliable choice for the position.

If Kepa Arrizabalaga leaves Chelsea, he has also been highly linked to a move to Fulham.

The best right-back after leaving Barcelona is the evergreen Dani Alves, though Italian team Spezia is an alternative.

The top players this summer who are available for free transfers

Sime Vrsaljko, a versatile player, may perform admirably at left back after leaving Atletico Madrid, according to Olympiacos.

Brazilian hothead Felipe, a former teammate, is available to play center defense for a side.

Alessio Romagnoli, a fellow aggressive tackler who played for AC Milan, is also looking for a new team after passing on Fulham.

After departing Man United and Brentford, respectively, Paul Pogba and Christian Eriksen are the best in the business in midfield.

Although a contract has not yet been finalized, Pogba is now edging closer to returning to Juventus.

And despite the possibility of signing a new contract with Brentford, Eriksen ironically may be moving to United as Pogba's replacement.

After his contract with Barcelona ended, Ousmane Dembele is now a part of an exciting offensive line on the right wing.

Although Chelsea and PSG are rumored to have made offers, the Catalans are still desperate to keep him.

Following his departure from Juventus, Paulo Dybala would be the ideal No. 10, with Inter Milan leading the chase for his services.

And as the ex-PSG forward approaches Juventus, Angel Di Maria demonstrates the team's technical prowess.

After his contract with Atletico Madrid expired, Luis Suarez became the man in charge up front.

The legendary Liverpool player had numerous offers to play in South America, but he wants to join a European team this summer.
