Ranking the top transfer spenders in the English Premier League so far
Numerous clubs in the Premier League have been active in the transfer market thus far. Prior to the tournaments of the upcoming season, their primary goal is to strengthen their separate squads.
First Tottenham Hotspur
The EPL's top spenders during the current transfer window are Tottenham Hotspur. The club has invested £95 million in its latest additions. Ivan Perisic, Richarlison, Fraser Forster, and Bissouma are the four newcomers to Antonio Conte's squad.
Liverpool-2nd
Liverpool has spent £91.5 million in the transfer market, which shows how busy they have been. In order to get ready for the challenge of the upcoming season, the Reds have already signed three players, including Darwin Nunez and Fabio Carvalho.
City Man third
So far, Manchester City has spent $51.1 million on players. Stefan Ortega and Erling Haaland are the two players who joined the team.

Rasmus Kristensen and Marc Roca are the only players Leeds has signed so far for a total of £45 million.
Arsenal-5th
Until now, the Gunners have also participated in the transfer market. Three players, namely Gabriel Jesus, Maquinhos, and Matt Turner, have joined the club after spending £44.5 million.

According to a source, Barcelona believes they can sign Robert Lewandowski for €40 million.
Barcelona reportedly believes they can sign Robert Lewandowski from Bayern Munich for €40 million before the start of the 2022–23 season. The striker's agent believes it will be sufficient.
Lewandowski proposals from Barcelona have reportedly been rejected or ignored by Bayern, who are reportedly holding out for at least €50 million.
However, according to Mundo Deportivo, Barca are "optimistic" they can recruit the striker for less because his agent Pini Zahavi was certain that such a sum would be sufficient.
Lewandowski's team allegedly "promised" to let his departure from Bayern if Barca offered €40 million, according to Relevo.
Lewandowski has made it plain he wants to leave and can do so for free next summer, despite Bayern's adamant refusal to transfer the striker.
Even the possibility of Lewandowski going on strike and skipping preseason workouts in an effort to force a Camp Nou transfer this summer has been floated.
