A programming language is a kind of computer language that is used in computer programming to develop algorithms constituting of set of rules that converts human languages to machine code outputs understandable by machines. Python, C, Java, C++ and many more are some of the most popular and exciting programming languages in the world right now. HTML and CSS are not necessarily programming languages but they also serve great purposes in web developments on the frontend level especially. Programmers are usually tagged as people who do not work very hard but earn a lot of money? Well, there is not so much truth to the statement as gaining an experience in a programming language requires years of constant practice and solving many different projects.
The big question that arises when anyone wants to start learning programming is, "which one do I start with?". Because there are a lot of programming languages. The answer to this million dollar question is Pyt.......actually none. Yes, choosing a programming language to learn is dependent on what you are interested in, where you plan to major and which one you feel you will need its use the most in your life. If you want to learn data science and machine learning, start with Python because in the long run you are going to get exposed to certain libraries which will help you in training your datasets and building models using algorithms. If you are interested in web development, you can learn HTML and CSS, then add JavaScript because the three work effectively in developing the frontend aspect of a website. If you are interested in building applications and developing software, try Java and C++. Some fields may require more than one or even two programming languages. It is all about practicing regularly and be willing to accept mistakes in the long run. Some projects may take you a long time to complete due to constant errors but it is all part of the learning process.
So yes, there is actually nothing like the "best" programming language but for a specific problem, some languages are better than others in that specific area.
