Barcelona is having difficulty announcing the signings of Andreas Christensen and Franck Kessie.
The Blaugrana have agreed to terms with both players, with Christensen joining from Chelsea and Kessie joining from AC Milan on free transfers.
Both players' contracts at their respective clubs have expired, and they will join Barcelona for the upcoming season, but no announcements have been made.
The reason for this is that Barcelona cannot currently register either player in their squad for the upcoming season.
According to Diario AS, the Blaugrana plan to announce the deals anyway, confident that they will have enough salary allowance space by the start of the season.
But that is the reason for the delay, and perhaps more importantly for both players, it is unlikely that either will be a starter next season, at least as things currently stand.
