Boehly promises to fix and further develop Chelsea's work environment culture
New proprietors treating claims in a serious way
While Chelsea have not put out an authority announcement at this point with respect to this issue, Boehly's update follows a reaction to the Times from the club about having taken "starting strides" to address these worries.
Chelsea co-proprietor Todd Boehly, who's assumed control throughout the everyday running of the club (essentially for the present) somewhat recently, has supposedly sent an update to all staff promising a full examination concerning the claims of harassing and poisonous way of behaving at the club, which was revealed and detailed by the New York Times this week.
While Chelsea have not put out an authority announcement at this point with respect to this issue, Boehly's update follows a reaction to the Times from the club about having taken "starting strides" to address these worries.
According to the Guardian, Boehly's letter guarantees that a zero-resistance approach will be taken, and there will be more straightforwardness, responsibility, inclusivity, variety and opportunity in the work environment.
"[...] while we have a triumphant group on the pitch … we want to survey and dissect how we can work on the club's way of life"
-Todd Boehly notice; source: Guardian
The report adds that Chelsea have affirmed that the survey group that has been designated is truth be told an alternate, "new" outer group, not the one from March that had been employed by the past system (with an obscure status or result for said survey).
Thus, a decent reaction from the new proprietors, yet clearly the main thing are the positive changes and upgrades that ideally will be made in the club's work environment culture.
"The physical and emotional well-being and prosperity of our kin is all vital. Our main goal is to establish a work environment climate that enables everybody to be protected, included, esteemed and trusted. We will work vigorously to set and accomplish the best expectations."
