Alex Dodoo gets down to business as ARSO President
The African Organization for Standardization (ARSO) has initiated the Director General of the Ghana Standards Authority (GSA), Professor Alex Dodoo as President at a General Council Meeting in Yaoundé, Cameroon.
Prof Dodoo, the fifteenth ARSO President, replaces BOOTO à NGON Charles of Cameroon who drove the intercontinental body responsible for norms harmonization for one-term.
"I'm happy and advantaged to be offered the chance to act as ARSO President. I will do the best that I can with it and depend on your help to arraign our order of utilizing principles to change our nations and our mainland," Prof Dodoo said after the service.
His residency in office starts when Africa is pushing to increment intra-exchange and extend monetary mix through the African Continental Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA).
