Ronaldo has asked to LEAVE if Manchester United finds a satisfying offers

CRISTIANO RONALDO is rumored to have informed Manchester United that he wishes to leave the club this summer.

The Red Devils made an emotional return to Old Trafford from Juventus last summer, signing a two-year contract at the Theatre of Dreams.

However, the club's poor performance last season is said to have encouraged the Portuguese to move on to greener pastures.

Since leaving the Portuguese league in 2003, the forward has played in the Champions League for 19 seasons in a row, contributing 140 goals and 52 assists. He believes that at the age of 37, he can still maintain his quality and form for another 2-3 seasons. As a result, he undoubtedly wish to miss the chance of performing in his favourite competition.

According to the Times, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner has informed United officials that he wishes to end his second spell at the club.

The Red Devils had a difficult season, finishing sixth in the Premier League and going without a trophy for the fifth year in a row.

Ronaldo had a solid scoring season, scoring 24 goals in 38 games across all competitions, though his usual outrageous standards were not met.

The 37-year-old won one Champions League and one Ballon d'Or with Manchester United before going on to win four more with Real Madrid.

And it is his desire to compete in continental competition According to The Times, this has influenced his decision to ask Manchester United to let him leave if they receive a'satisfactory offer' this summer.

Ronaldo has appeared in 19 consecutive Champions League campaigns, scoring 140 goals in 183 appearances.

The former Juventus forward 'believes he has three or four years left at the highest level' and wishes to spend these years with a club that shares his ambition.

After the club's turbulent 2021/22 season, which saw the sacking of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, the appointment of Ralf Rangnick, and the abandonment of plans for Rangnick to become a consultant in Manchester, he 'no longer views his future to be at Old Trafford.'

According to Ronaldo's "close friends," he is still has ‘affection and respect’ for the Man Utd fanbase and After a difficult period for his family, the experienced striker wants to leave on personal grounds rather than sporting grounds.

The contract of Portugal's captain expires next summer, and Chelsea and Bayern Munich have been linked with a summer move.

Bayern Munich is unlikely to make an offer unless Robert Lewandowski leaves, with Barcelona keen to sign the Polish striker.
