THE HISTORY OF PUSIGA

Gbewaa came to Pusiga, not as a mamprusi or Dagomba. He was probably fleeing from something in his home town (Chad) looking at the fact that he didn't come with siblings.

There would have been at least one tribe left in Lake Chad that linked the current tribes that claim to be descendants of him.

The Sara tribe are the largest followed by the Arabs in Chad. There are no mamprusis or Dagbama tribes in Chad and therefore signals that the name was given to him by the indigenes of Pusiga where he came to settle.

This goes to state that Gbewaa was displaced and lost from his original and Dagbama was given to him by those that stayed around him.

There should be absolutely nothing worth fighting over inheritance from history because they are full of fiction and inaccuracies. We all were not in existence to witness events and no one qualifies to dig them out for us.

Consider the moshies who claimed to be born out of the gbewaa princess. Moshies were established in the 11th century while the mamprusis was established in the 13th century (which means moshies were in existence over 200 years before mamprusis came to existence). Unless that history is not linked to the whole world moshies.

The total moshies population is 11.1 million while the mamprusis is only 200,000. Even their total wouldn't reach 2 million if we add the whole gbewaa lineage. How come?

History is what people want to write and present about themselves and should never call for violent inheritance.

Who we meet and what we do today is a big history tomorrow.

Let the wise understand!!!
