Barcelona 'won't further develop offer including a 40 percent pay slice to Dembele'
Barcelona have made it clear to Ousmane Dembele that they don't mean to raise their proposition at present on the table for the Frenchman to recharge his agreement, as per reports in Spain.
The winger is formally never again as Barcelona player after his agreement at the Nou Camp terminated on Friday morning and he is a free specialist in the wake of neglecting to agree over another arrangement with the Catalan goliaths.
In the midst of Barcelona's monetary emergency, Dembele would have needed to have accepted a huge decrease in salary to remain at the club.
The club's last proposal to Dembele would have seen him need to take a 40 percent decrease on his previous wages, making due with a similar compensation as Ansu Fati, so Barcelona might have remained inside the LaLiga pay cap limits, as per SPORT.
The Spanish club have clarified this is their best arrangement and won't think about raising the deal.
The last contact between the player and the club was on Monday when Dembele's representative Moussa Sissoko headed out to Barcelona for one more gathering to examine a potential agreement expansion after past offers had been turned down.
With Barca mentor Xavi pushing for an arrangement, Sissoko made the excursion having recently clarified that no arrangement could be arrived at under the ongoing circumstances.
