Barcelona is one of the most active teams in this transfer market, although they haven't made any acquisitions yet. The Catalan club has expressed interest in bringing some players to Camp Nou to get ready for contests in the upcoming season, and they are prepared to invest a lot of money this summer.
Although Robert Lewandowski has been strongly linked with a move to Barcelona, the Catalan club and Bayern Munich have not yet reached an agreement. The dominant Bundesliga team is exerting every effort to keep the 33-year-old attacker with the team. According to Bild, Bayern Munich have rejected Barcelona's €40 million + €5 million in add-ons bid for Lewandowski. As per the report, Bayern Munich won't sell the 33 year old forward for anything less than €50 million.
At this point, it's unclear whether Barcelona will make an improved offer for Lewandowski or wait until he runs out of contract and then sign him on a free transfer next summer.
The Catalan club also face tough competition from Chelsea for the signature of 25 year old Leeds United winger Raphinha. Leeds have received offers from the two clubs but Raphinha wants to move to Camp Nou.
Barcelona are yet to make an offer for Bernardo Silva but Man City expects nothing less than €80 million. The Catalan club are also in pursuit of Jules Kounde and Cesar Azpilicueta.
Araujo and Kounde may form a defensive partnership while Azpilicueta and Alba will play as full-backs.
Pedri, Busquets and Bernardo Silva may form a midfield trio. Ansu Fati, Lewandowski and Raphinha may start upfront.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Ferran Torres and Gavi are also expected to feature in matches and Ter Stergen remains Barcelona number one Goalkeeper.
