Nii Lantey Vanderpuye, previous Minister of Youth and Sports has encouraged football specialists and authorities to stop wagering in football, as it goes far to settle for less of the game in Ghana.

As per Mr Vanderpuye, it was about time football specialists met up to discuss the issue of wagering in football as it was bringing down the norm of the game.
