There exist an obvious variation in the age at which people get married. This variation occurs from one society to the other and also from one time to another. So I personally have problem with people who have problem with the age of our mother Aisha at the time of her marriage to our beloved prophet Muhammad may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him. The taste of one society might be distasteful by another society and so is the taste of one point in time to the other. More to the point, how dare you condemn what the Lord of the worlds has consented to. Even now a days what do we not see, young girls at very tender ages becoming pregnant and giving birth as if it is now the order of the and no one’s business. We should be much concerned about that which really matters to us and has an impact on the society of today than poking our noses into the affairs which are of no benefit to us. Whether or not she was married at a very young age, how is that your concern?

The above text tells us that Sarah was around 90 or 91-years-old when she gave birth to Isaac. Sarah died at the age of 127, as Genesis 23 reports: “The Death of Sarah 23 Sarah lived to be a hundred and twenty-seven years old. 2 She died at Kiriath Arba (that is, Hebron) in the land of Canaan, and Abraham went to mourn for Sarah and to weep over her.” – Genesis 23:1-2 (NIV) Since Sarah gave birth to Isaac at 90 (or 91), Isaac would have been around 36 (or 37) when her mother had died. [9/9, 6:40 AM] Ironic Knight:

This would mean that Isaac was 36 or 37-years-old when his father tried to sacrifice him on Mount Moria: “22 Some time later God tested Abraham. He said to him, “Abraham!” “Here I am,” he replied. 2 Then God said, “Take your son, your only son, whom you love—Isaac—and go to the region of Moriah. Sacrifice him there as a burnt offering on a mountain I will show you.” 3 Early the next morning Abraham got up and loaded his donkey. He took with him two of his servants and his son Isaac. When he had cut enough wood for the burnt offering, he set out for the place God had told him about. 4 On the third day Abraham looked up and saw the place in the distance. 5 He said to his servants, “Stay here with the donkey while I and the boy go over there. We will worship and then we will come back to you.” 6 Abraham took the wood for the burnt offering and placed it on his son Isaac, and he himself carried the fire and the knife. As the two of them went on together, 7 Isaac spoke up and said to his father Abraham, “Father?” “Yes, my son?” Abraham replied. “The fire and wood are here.
