Government necessities to upgrade Free SHS, others as IMF bailout calls - Terkper
Are we ready to pay for them, Terkper questions lead programs
Previous Minister of Finance Seth Terkper has expressed that some administration lead programs should be upgraded, now that the nation is looking for an IMF bailout.
As indicated by him, programs like the Free Senior High School Policy should be re-evaluated to guarantee that it is manageable.
He made the ideas after he noticed that some leader programs are depleting the nation's assets.
Addressing Citi Business News, he said "the inquiry we ought to present ourselves is; do these projects have the right plan, and would we say we are ready to pay for them? We know it."
"The superintendents and different partners like project workers have all spoken about an absence of installment with regards to the projects, they are a piece of. In this way, it's anything but whether or not the IMF will push us."
"We need to truly second guess ourselves on the supportability of our projects like the Free SHS, particularly in a climate where we don't approach the market to get."
That's what terkper noticed "like different projects previously, the Free SHS should be overhauled."
