It is all change at Chelsea this summer under their new ownership, and several players will be glancing nervously over their shoulder until the market closes.
Romelu Lukaku, who was an enigmatic acquisition for close to £100 million just last summer, is being shown the exit door by Todd Boehly, who is expected to support Thomas Tuchel strongly. The exodus is under progress, and he won't be the only one to depart.
The Blues' team will undoubtedly include a number of new faces from the front to the rear of their lineup next season. In light of Cristiano Ronaldo's unclear future at Manchester United, it was revealed on Monday that Chelsea is mulling a move for the player.
Last week, they also gatecrashed Arsenal's bid to sign Raphinha from Leeds with a £60million offer, but the Brazilian is still holding out for Barcelona.
The Blues are still in talks with Manchester City about moving Raheem Sterling for £55 million. This revamped strikeforce has the potential to be lethal, but some current stars must be sold in order for that to happen.
Timo Werner and Christian Pulisic are two players who could be cut, thus Sportsmail is going in-depth on the players whose futures in the capital are uncertain.
1. TIMO WERNER
It just hasn't worked out for Timo Werner at Chelsea, and there have been active attempts this summer to move him on. As Sportsmail has revealed in recent weeks, the Blues touted a potential swap deal for Juventus defender Matthijs de Ligt.
During the previous season, he made 37 appearances, 24 of which were starts. 11 goals and 8 assists were scored throughout the course of 2,317 minutes. These totals are not terrifying by any means, but they fall short of what his team will expect.
2. HAKIM ZIYECH
Chelsea have been in talks with AC Milan over playmaker Hakim Ziyech, with the former Moroccan international set to be the next to make space for new signings.
CALLUM HUDSON-ODOI
Callum Hudson-Odoi had a really rough season last year. He did not play for Chelsea on March 2, when the team narrowly defeated Luton Town in an FA Cup match, and even then, he only contributed 62 minutes. His professional life needs to be changed.
It appears he is making every effort to do it during preseason. In an effort to get back to full health before the Blues schedule gets going, he is reportedly being pushed through his paces in 'brutal' training sessions.
It's uncertain, though, if he'll be there when the new season begins.
4. CHRISTIAN PULISIC
5. JORGINHO
A decision may also need to be made over the future of Jorginho this summer. He has been heavily linked with a move to Italy, and has just 12 months remaining on his deal. Having allowed it to tick down, could the midfielder be tempted to move on?
