OUR ‘BULLION VAN’ CATHEDRAL: PART 1

The public basilica would be a heritage, image of our nation's expectations and desires of exemplary nature for all ages. The landmark would be a public distinction to God as the spirit of our solidarity and personality. That is the reason it should be supported from the public satchel as opposed to private pockets.

I'm highly disturbed by the bitterness and public ruckus against the public basilica project.

Driven by the recognized pundit, Kwesi Pratt (who tragically has no substantial records of representing God on such matters) they can't help thinking about why monies focused on the task wouldn't be utilized to develop medical clinics for pregnant ladies and youngsters in remote pieces of Ghana to lessen the spate of preventable passings or to facelift numerous perilous streets in the country.

The planning of the undertaking also has not improved the situation. During a period of remarkable ascent in the cost of food and all that cash can purchase, using a great many citizen assets on such a pretentious official undertaking could incite a public ruckus and drive radicals into justifiable ire.

In any case, the methods of God are not the methods of men, nor is God's insight associated to the insight of men. The racket and slander against the venture might be justifiable, yet it doesn't be guaranteed to convert into God's dismissal of the undertaking. The voice of individuals isn't generally the voice of God.

When official decisions and bureau intelligence continue to lead all of us into the abyss of expansion, who do we go to for salvation? Do we go to the monetary teachers in Legon, the resistance or the IMF? Each time the offspring of Israel went to God in apology, he mediated in their public issues and saved them from appetite and expansion. This president is persuaded that our country's monetary salvation is from a higher place ─ from the skies as opposed to the devaluing hypotheses of interest and supply.
