A land organization, Waterstone Realty Limited says it has been not able to involve a 1.26 section of land of land used to repay it by the public authority after its property was gained for the structure of the public house of prayer.
The organization made sense of that this is on the grounds that the land, which was properly distributed to it, is being involved by the National Security.
In a proclamation on Monday, July 4, the organization said since the land was dispensed to it in August 2020, it has been not able to utilize or get to the land.
"We wish to express that, in August 2020, the Land Commission dispensed a 1.26 section of land of land situated at Ridge Residential Area in Accra. In any case, the allotted land is as of now involved by National Security and Waterstone Realty has not had the option to take empty ownership of this properly apportioned land," it said.
That's what the organization mourned "Endeavors to look for change through government offices have demonstrated vain."
In May 2018, the public authority moved toward Waterstone Realty and told the organization of its goal to fabricate a public basilica on its legitimately procured site situated at Ridge in Accra.
The organization, accordingly cleared the site in July 2018 to clear way for the development of the National Cathedral after the public authority vowed to migrate impacted organizations and pay the vital remuneration properly.
Notwithstanding, as indicated by the organization, all endeavors through the Ministry of Land and Natural Resources, Ministry of Works and Housing and the Attorney-General's Department to gain admittance to the land have demonstrated worthless.
"It is critical to take note of the antagonistic effect on our business activities over these four (4) years, which has incorporated the utilization of resources obliterated turning out rental revenue and at the hour of destruction, guarantee for advances to help our tasks.
"We are hopeful that very much like other impacted organizations of the National Cathedral venture, Waterstone Realty will be properly repaid as quickly as time permits to deflect any further adverse consequence on our business and representatives," the organization said in its public statement.

In the interim, the North Tongu MP, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has affirmed that administration has neglected to remunerate land owners whose designs were wrecked to clear a path for the National Cathedral.
"The confidential engineers whose properties were destroyed have not been redressed."
"So I was thinking as numerous Ghanaians would have thought, that in the event that the cash removed has not gone into the undertaking, and workers for hire have suspended work for non-installment maybe it has gone into redressing … it is stunning to understand that this multitude of amounts of cash removed are unlawful .. you have these confidential engineers who have not gotten any remuneration," he said.
