Sir Alex Ferguson, the legendary Manchester United manager, has told friends that he is "worried" that the club he transformed into a serial winner is in danger of becoming a circus act, according to the UK Mirror.

Sir Alex is not alone in the Old Trafford boardroom in holding this view.
Sir Bobby Charlton, a Manchester United legend, is said to be dissatisfied with the lack of entertainment on the field and the constant squabbles off it.
