Patrice Evra is without a doubt one of the greatest left-backs of his generation, having won numerous trophies such as the Premier League, UCL, Serie A, and the FIFA Club World Cup. However, he had a dismal track record during his football career.
Evra was a member of the Monaco team that lost the 2003-04 UEFA Champions League final 3-0 to Porto. Soon after, he joined the English club Manchester United.
He lost two UCL finals in three years at Manchester United, both to Pep Guardiola's Barcelona. The first was a 2-0 loss in the 2008-09 final, followed by a 3-1 loss in the 2010-11 final.
He later moved to Juventus in 2014, where he stayed for three seasons. He was a member of the squad that lost 3-1 to Barcelona in the 2014-15 UCL final.

According to the bookmakers, Bayern Munich is the favorite to sign Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo this summer.
Ronaldo's future at Manchester United is uncertain after the Portugal captain told the Red Devils that if they receive a suitable offer for him this summer, he will leave. Ronaldo is concerned that the Red Devils are not progressing quickly enough.
The five-time Ballon d'Or winner still "has an affinity for the club," but at this point in his career, he wants to be playing in the Champions League, which he doesn't see happening at Manchester United.
He did not report to training on Monday due to family obligations, but Sportsmail reported on Sunday that he would meet with Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag upon his return to discuss his future.
Ronaldo's current contract with Manchester United expires in a year, and his agent, Jorge Mendes, has been in talks with clubs such as Bayern Munich, Chelsea, and Napoli in recent weeks to see if there is a market for his client, but no agreement has been reached as of yet.
However, bookmakers have already placed odds on Ronaldo leaving this summer, with Bayern Munich the current favorite.
The Bundesliga champions are ahead of Manchester United's Premier League rivals Chelsea, who are 7/2, as manager Thomas Tuchel looks to replace Romelu Lukaku following his return to Inter Milan last month.
Bayern has already paid £35.1 million to sign Sadio Mane from Manchester United's archrivals Liverpool.
However, their manager, Julian Nagelsmann, may look to bring in more reinforcements up front, especially given reports that striker Robert Lewandowski is looking to leave.
