Paul Merson has affirmed that Arsenal are hoping to get essentially 'two additional players' this late spring, in the wake of uncovering a confidential meet-up with Edu. The Gunners have previously made four signings this mid-year, however it looks like their business is a long way from being done right now.
The Gunners were the Premier League's greatest spenders the previous summer, and it appears as though they could begin the new season with that tag to their name once more.
